Varicose veins are a common disease and are often esthetically unpleasing. When the valves of the veins fail to work properly, the result is a backflow of blood and pooling in the damaged veins. Varicose veins can be mild to severe spider veins to bulging veins.

Symptoms include unsightly veins, swelling, achiness, and fatigue.
